Collection: I am Happy I am Functional I Don´t Need to Draw Anymore (2026)

This is my first complete collection of paintings since I started taking ADHD medication in 2024.

The series explores what happens when my nervous system becomes more balanced, when I no longer need to create just to function, but instead create because I genuinely want to. For most of my life, making art has been a necessity, a way to regulate my mind. This collection asks the question: Who am I as an artist when creating becomes a choice rather than a survival strategy?

Alongside this personal exploration, the paintings draw inspiration from spiritual and historical archetypes, like Mary of Magdala, as well as different interpretations of the Trinity. These archetypes became companions and guides throughout a period when I questioned whether I even wanted to paint anymore, and ultimately helped me discover a new way of being an artist.
